"There is no slowing down of external activity just yet in Fonmon Apiary. The shorter daylight hours are being used at every opportunity, which, thanks to the present mild conditions, means that nectar and pollen collecting is still going on apace. A reduction in egg laying is observable in some colonies but not all; in fact my Varroa mite monitoring programme is proof positive that queens are laying. .... "
